This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

The journal does not require article processing charges or any other author fees.

In short, the Creative Commons Attribution License v 4.0 (CC-BY) allows users to copy, distribute and transmit an article, adapt the article, and make commercial use of the article. The CC BY license permits commercial and non-commercial re-use of an open-access article, as long as the author is properly attributed.

Copyright on articles published in Seeds of Science is retained by the author(s) without restrictions. Authors grant Seeds of Science a right to publish an article under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License and identify itself as the original publisher.

License agreement

In submitting an article to any of the journals published by Seeds of Science I certify that:

  1. I am authorized by my co-authors to enter into these arrangements.

  2. I warrant, on behalf of myself and my co-authors, that:

    • the article is original, has not been formally published in any other peer-reviewed journal, is not under consideration by any other journal and does not infringe any existing copyright or any other third party rights;

    • I am/we are the sole author(s) of the article and have full authority to enter into this agreement and in granting rights to Springer are not in breach of any other obligation;

    • the article contains nothing that is unlawful, libellous, or which would, if published, constitute a breach of contract or of confidence or of commitment given to secrecy;

    • I/we have taken due care to ensure the integrity of the article. To my/our - and currently accepted scientific - knowledge all statements contained in it purporting to be facts are true and any formula or instruction contained in the article will not, if followed accurately, cause any injury, illness or damage to the user.

  3. I, and all co-authors, agree that the article, if editorially accepted for publication, shall be licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 and discussed above.
